    I think it’s a great idea, possibly because I’m contemplating similar for my caravan. I suggest you get a thick-walled bike mount as some at *#§ rubbish. My purpose is for 4hp outboard motor stand.

    Tim...try a new key with Loctite 660. Give that crank end a good clean up first. This stuff is made for this sort of problem. If nothing else, it will save you from having to rush into a motor...
