   Seems the match chamber in Kimbers is a bit tighter according to the wise people of the interweb. The bump required isn't excessive (in terms of cam-over on the press) so will see how we get on.

   Pretty happy. Went for a walk to rifle range and group is just over 4" low. Adjusting to Litz's .703 provides about the right correction. Can't wait to have another shot at 600y.

   I do the annealing the deal is if I don't have the pilot the person buys and sends to me to add to the collection for the next person.

    I'll AMP anneal for free for you (find that thread if keen). Hot brass based on a colour change then put into water seems a bit variable? Agree with above about other priorities...annealing is icing...

    Anything the 308 does the 3006 does better and the 300wsm does better again and so on. Any caliber is a compromise in some measure. Apart from the 280AI. If your mate wants to shoot past 600y...
