The guy made a mistake. He didn't need a stricter childhood, or hard line police response or a 'when I was a boy' speech. He was simply negligent. He nearly dusted his wife, any married man knows...

timattalon liked post by zimmer On thread : New rifle, scope question
There are very few gun shops I would trust to correctly fit a scope. After watching the efforts of a gun shop jockey in GS one day my opinion is only reinforced. He did the whole exercise using a...

I like Sidney's approach to this, but that's probably only because I followed this subject closely and have heard the rumours on the grapevine. Without that knowledge I would be more inclined to...

I honestly don't like ARs. I prefer my knives and guns somewhat traditional. Each to their own.

Other thing to remember is that if tying the rifle down and dialing scope that dialing UP makes the reticle go DOWN. So have zero at the top and 20 or 30 MOA at the bottom.

And by no means supporting Chinese made over NZ stuff but the degree of quality or by reverse "cheapness" is determined by the client. They will build to whatever quality/cost the client dictates....

Have never bothered with dearer scopes on my 100+ 22s over the years. Not necessary for accurate, reliable 0-100m shooting. Have found entry level bushnells and the Nikko Stirlings do the job very...

Don't forget to factor in cleaning gear, a bag and ammo into the equation too. Really easy to spend a exrra couple hundy sorting out the extra bits and pieces
