A lot of ground based deer control has and is still currently being carried out and there is chopper control budgeted but I'm unsure when that is starting.

For free topomaps google NZ OpenGPS and Mr Purple's topomaps, that is what I use on my Oregon 300 and 700. They don't show DOC boundaries or access points though.
