That was because us 3 shot guys are a pretty relaxed bunch. The 5 plus shot guys would have all been too busy fussing over their gear and fiddling to chat.

No luck in the thick of the roar but managed to bag this fella just before Anzac Day. Roared him in from about 400m out. Was holding a fair few hinds and spikers. Left a nice young 8 to replace him....

There are animals there in low numbers .area gets a good amount of pressure as easy access and huts close by.. But the country makes up for lack of animals.

I hunt the eyres abit and have for quite a few years. Haven’t been in the Ashton but it would be worth a look for a chamois, but if it’s like the other side of the hill deer are probably reasonably...

Does it come with an additional someone to run that 700m down the hill to hook it on and back again? If not I'll stick to shooting animals on the high side of the track.
