    I wear blaze so that other hunters can see me. Deer are colour blind but are designed to see movement. Anything that breaks up your outline is useful, that includes checkered patterned shirts....

    After 26 years in the military, I don’t feel the need to wear DPM when hunting. I wear muted dark greens mostly. That said, I think movement and smell are more important than what you’re wearing.

    Far more important to get good quality gear rather than camo vs not. Better to have a good layer system that will get you out there more and keep you out for longer. In the scheme of hunting skills...
