   I would say the next 4 days are a perfect time to go and buy a rifle. Go get one secondhand in good condition. It will see you right for years. Can worry about a Shiny new one later.

   Fixed it. Sorry, pet peave of mine! 308 Winchester for me. Can load from 125 to 180 grains, rifles tend to not be fussy and plentiful ammo and components. If I can only have one load Id go 165gr....

   308. you can do anything from 240gr subs to .......oh wait sabot ammo is now banned......anyways the 42gr jhp 22 cal projectiles went out near 5000 fps. anyways nothing you can hit and humanely...
