Biography:
Back in A-NZ after 15 odd years overseas. After a bit of a hasty exit from UK in March 2020. Making up for lost time after an 18 month wait for FAL.

Ex-farm-boy from Mid-Canty, now based in Wellington, chasing bambi's round the Tararua's, Haurangi's, Sthn Ruahines with varying rates of success... also every now and then in the Marlb Sounds keeping the goat population in check.

Love all the advice/reckons/wisdom/yarns on here, always super helpful.

    I've got a Mitutoyo dial vernier I won for the 5th form engineering prize at Ruapehu College in 1983. They are still in use in the machine shop, and still check against gauge blocks. Buy once........

    I recommended the 55 because the question was "where to start". 55 is a good place to start 'cos they invariably shoot well and kill good enough. With the right twist there is no doubt 77 & 80...
