Biography:
Once upon a time I built my own A-Cat AR-15s in 300Blackout and .223. Have owned 7mm08, 6.5 x 55, 7.62.39, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm RM and .17HMR. Nowadays I only own a 6.5 creedmoor Tikka and a 7mm RM Bergara. I do some reloading.

    Remove the bolt and magazine,get a torch and check how much of the front mount screw is protruding into the locking lug area of the receiver. Common cause of light firing pin strike.

    Buy it, should take you three rounds to sight it in, three rounds to shoot a group, if it likes the ammo, go hunting. I wouldn't even clean it after that first few shots either, run a pullthrough...

    Just shoot it and clean it properly and you will be fine, long strings of shots that get the barrel super hot will do more damage to the barrel. 2-3 shots then let it cool would be the best way to go...
