To me its all about practicality. Yes it would be nice to keep the rifle in original condition but if that means it doesn't fit your requirements then whats the point? So I agree with the 20" barrel...

I have the Sauer 100 in 6.5CM. Lovely trigger, better than the Tikka. Nice double stack mag. high comb gives better head position than the Tikka. It shoots really well. 3 position safety is great....

Honey suckle is not a stable wood it suffers from cell collapse while drying. found this out the hard way when I milled some.

Yeah the thing that has put me off them is the fact that if you get into water up to or over the level of the hubs you risk stuffing the electric motors. Then you have a $8000, 200kg back pack
