I agree. If you have a spotting scope this works well, but if you're spotting with a rifle it's not so easy.
I use a AI short tactical can, quiet with recoil reduction and easy to clean.

Always fun trying to be a spotter for a braked 338LM. Dust and debris flying everywhere, feels like time stops for a second. End up with a range bag placed between the two rifles for some...
Tangent Theta is a Canadian company owned by Andrew Webber, the former President of Armament Technology. Things are really looking up for Premier :)
Yep on top of that semi...super fast! (and accurate). Now if they could just build a wind meter into it...
I use a Kurrzeit which is ok and a good place to start for new loads. However I've found I get better results for working out bullet drop by the "point of impact" test. It never seems to be the same...
Just wondering which model scopes (premier & nightforce) were tested against the Kahles?
The parallax adjustment looks very nice on the Kahles6-24i...I like it :)
Thanks. Will have to learn Swedish:thumbsup:
That would be an interesting article regarding the scope tests at the laboratory. Do you have a link?
SAAB test laboratory measured/ tested the Kahles. It IS a superior scope to NF, Premier etc and just as good if not better than the S&B. The only thing I don't like is that you can't lift/ reset the...
I know we all need to work together and stick together. United we stand. Not just Colfo and the NSA etc but all shooters...hunters, target shooters, clay, pistol, etc, etc.
I like the Zeiss Spotter also. Having a reticle in a spotting scope with great glass is a major advantage. Really helps with shot correction.
I'd like like my kids to grow up and have the option of owning firearms including semi autos. I'm joining the NSA :)
Cool. Keep us informed with pics etc.
+1
Ask your gunsmith if you can watch him cut it etc?
5-25 Premiers with XR reticle in stock now.
My 7 year old nephew with my Savage Shorty was hitting a ten inch steel plate at 200 meters 4 out of five times. That's with Winchester 22lr ammo, not so accurate with Federal.
They're good guys. Gunsite (USA) trained instructors.
M14 and classic do...
Yes I had problems with a batch of Winchester large rifle primers. Thought I was reloading to hot, bursting etc. Turned out I wasn't the only one having problems. I use Federal now...
True it ain't no AR, but it is a classic...
They have been known to slam fire. There will be guys on here that will know more about it than me. Use hard primers and safety glasses. They are good accurate rifles and good value for money. Enjoy.
Just make sure you wear safety glasses when you fire it :)
That was a very intereting thread. I learnt a few things and great information for new shooters to read.
I was given some good advice the other day about natural point of aim. When going prone the...
I have a Horus bubble level on the left side of my scope. I shoot with both eyes open so its quick to focus on the level to check if the scope is plumb. I only usually use it for 600 plus meters...
Single stage triggers like the JP are great for 3 gun (quick) and are light enough to aid in accuracy a lot. That what I use. Lately however I've been leaning towards the 2 stage Geissele trigger. A...
