For down I agree, but they reckon the synthetic fill doesn't have that problem (which is why I'd lean towards a synth next time).

Am I right in reading that its just an airmat, ie not insulated?

I have an Exped Downmat 'Lite 5' which cost less than that one (on special) and it has been great, I thought it had a leak once but...
