    I've been using New Zealand Topo Maps Pro...

    I've been using New Zealand Topo Maps Pro for my Android device and have been impressed so far. Just remember to download the section you want before going bush / offline!

    For anyone else that stumbles across this thread looking for topo maps for their Garmin devices...

    You can download Garmin Custom Maps for each of LINZ's topo50 map sheets using the download tab...
