52 grains of 760 W behind a 139 hornady interlock flat base in my discount really gets it humming, very accurate load. Like someone else said flat base bullets only it seems work in those BSA...
Best mounts for a hunter are conetrol mounts if you can still get them.
55 grain Hornady in the 50 round packs.
Google High Desert Rifle Works in New Mexico, they make very good bottom metal for Tikka rifles. I have two on my rifles, real quality lightweight upgrades.

If you're a cold sleeper definitely don't go for anything less than a certified-6/7° c bag. I got the o°F kuiu that's-18 c rating with 850 loft down. Sure it's over kill for mild conditions but...
I've got a kuiu that I purchased this year and think it's one of the best designed bags I've seen, expensive yes,but quality all the way.

Just bought a kuiu bag ,very impressed with build quality and materials used. They only make 3 grades of bag so easy to decide what best suits your needs.
That's a nice set up Dicko and in a great calibre, it all looks in balance to me. I think 36mm- 42/ 44 mm objective is right for these single shots .
