    The Hilux has a idle up switch just like the Prado. Has HEAT and a wiggly doofa on it. Only operates until the engine is up to operating temp.

    The batteries need 14.1V to keep the battery charged....

    Basically the oil residue from the breather system gets into the intake via the breather hose from the rocker cover to the intake hose, which is normally pre turbo. It does cause oily carbon deposits...

    Could be a timing chain. We've done a few now. There is a field fix on them. Huge job. Get it looked at when you get the next service done, or before if you're worried.

    They're actually pretty good. Few had torque converter issues but feck all really. Only really been trucks used for heavy towing.

    Injector seats and seals get done every 45kms. ($310 incl lab)
    That's done to stop the oil getting gunked up and the oil pickup blocking then fucking the motor.
    If the injectors are on the way out...
