Looks like loading the .280 or7x64 to 60000 psi with good powder selection, may prove very worthwhile,
I be happy with the 162 gr at 2850-2900, hope my rifle is twisted...

Well had the AV, 7x64 out this days off, and sighted in with a cheap 3x9x40 Leopold.
Pretty impressed, shoot well, and has a very nice trigger, 140gr factory rem are ok, 25mm at 100m, previous...
This arrived today, Sako AV in 7x64, with old type Sako rings and a tasco vari power, and a box of S&B 173gr ammo.

Timely thread, I've just bought a Sako AV in 7x64 for a g, we will see how tidy once it arrives, picking up two boxes of ammo and dies tommorow, then. Off to smack sum gophers ( for a few days)
