Still yet to see a gwp or gsp stalking in on deer... off...

Look at it this way. if a honest competent trainer was to train a finished ! deer dog doubt it would be leaving there hands for under 6k ish more if it was that good
3kish for half finished ect ....
It's takes a easly a year to train a deer dog from pup and then training it more over the following 6-8 months on the hill .. and thats with no retraining
Ruff is right .. I would put money on...
Three of us entered and one of us got in this year
Last year we had no luck
Thanks for the reply mate ..
good luck every one who entered
When's it getting drawn and when will we find out .. does anyone know thanks
that article is a good read and im guessing Herb Spannagl knows a thing or to but hes only out lined what a "companion" dog should do and thats heel (as he said at the end) its a good starting point...
100% learn about the lines within the breed ... all breeders are gonna tell yo there dogs are good, so ask around
Was hoping to patten it 2day but did not . . Unsure about taking down the comb as I got a long neck. Will see what at looks like on the board then report back.
Yeh cheers mate. . I miss every clay 2day. . so placed 3 on top of each other about foot apart in a tree. Aimed for the middle one and hit the top one then aimed for the bottom one and hit the one...
Yeh ha ha. . Its shooting high . if I drop my head and sight straight down the rib its hits the target but also smashes my check. I like to be looking on top. ? . Same thing with my simi but...
Miroku mk70 sporter is shooting high and it does not have shims. . Its real flat shooting gun. How can I fix this
Some here. . Like my dogs but I wont be spending big bucks when I can just get and train another
I could be but. . need price and photos
So who's got them because I know some one who hunts alot and want to trail one ? Who's looking
frozen for me , easy to feed and literally half the amount of shit compared to the dyed
so then can some one please tell me how to teach this no command that yous are all teaching ... i have only asked about 6-7 times
i understand what yous are saying and thanks for the replys , to prove your point though you dont need to flim the trick you only need to film the correction ,,
and your not going to use the word...
but you and dogie cant even teach your dog to stop so what are you saying , that you teach it or not
lets just say hypothetically some one does not got to the time to teach no means stop, and maybe they have tort a slight negative association to no ,,,, easy to do since you dont jump and down all...
its a legitimate question and such a simple one that no one is answering or debating ..... your all just saying no means no
same as above , did you take the time to teach that action , or do you scream no and your dog freaks out and stops ,,, did you teach a stop command and call it no
im just asking ?
and im asking do you take the time to teach a stop command , or do you just scream at your dog until it stops ,,, there is a difference ,, its a simple question
yes i must say you did put that up straight off the bat , , but when you post information about training you don't seen to follow that basic logic
you see ? no action is not a action , you...
and thats because the technique you use to teach a command,, is not the same technique you use to get a dog to do a command, they are totally different ,,
