Thought of you while I was there. Hut still smokes...

Went in along the main ridge to the hut, track’s pretty overgrown in spots.

I don't know the history of the herd, or my sheep breeds!!

Tough to kill is right, the ram took a 147gr in the brisket at all of 20m range and ran ~20m before keeling over. The hut is nice, great porch. Smoky as hell though, don't light the fire.

The fleeces were grubby as anything, but I didn't see any wildlife crawling around on there. It's a nice spot, bit of a grunt in and out!

That's right, I went sheep hunting. I'd known of an area with a herd of wild sheep for a long time, and finally got around to checking it out during a horrid norwester.
