    15x zoom should be more than enough magnification...

    15x zoom should be more than enough magnification for deer sized animals as far away as you can accurately shoot to kill one.
    A larger objective lens will (theoretically) give you better light...

    VX5hd + bells and whistles = Vx6hd.
    You have to ask yourself if the bells and whistles are worth the extra.
    Firedot is a great "extra".
