45 long Colt?
You should be able to get them steaming along without lotsa recoil.
I find a thumbhole stock feels a lot slower on the reload - but I'll admit I've never put the same rifle in two stocks and run a timer on it.
45-110?
45/120?
450 BPE?
Could this be the 577-450?
I would assume that as the inner surface heats up first, the outer diameter would (relatively speaking) stay the same, so the initial expansion would displace into the bore and thus cause a...
Some from the weekend. Not on DOC land, so they don't count in my mind- but I'm not a trophy hunter in any event so the meat is the point of the exercise.

Yeah - nobody in the driver's seat is a giveaway.
Whoops.
Anything that will fight a leopard gets my respect.
I mean, I wouldn't let one marry my sister, but I'd phrase the refusal carefully so as to not offend.
That would probably fall under the same rules as the Military and Police where no license required for firearms stuff while on duty.
All of this stuff is VERY similar to what I see on the UK...
Talking to your self is fine - even arguing is ok. Just as long as one of you wins the argument.
A head torch, gps, compass and plb seem to take care of most of my worries - that, and surviving...
The two best times to hunt are when it is raining.
And when it isn't.
Nearly 24% more bore volume.
7mm bore area is 3.5 x 3.5 x 3.141 = 38.5 mm2
8mm is 4 x 4 x 3.141 = 50.25 mm2
Can't escape the maths
All you need is a rifle soft case with a tiny padlock on it - fills the lockable case requirement. I have a padlock between the zip pull and the strap d ring.
Try turning it off when you are asleep.
Close enough for Government work.
How ya doing?
It would have needed new underpants.
There was a plover, but 300m closer.
I had one impact 2m low at 480m, and the occasional weird flyer at 100. The rifle would shoot 16-20mm for 5 shots, then toss one out anywhere up to 80mm away. Reading online this has been a problem...
143 grain 6.5 Norma Bondstrikes in the SAUM, sitting over a fairly mild load (59 grains) of 2217.
Looks to be the goods, especially after unexplained projectile problems with 147 eldm. Which were...
Went out this morning to check the SAUM for an upcoming trip.
1 shot @ 449m, prone with a sling and my front hand resting on a pack - as I do hunting.
Haven't shot a deer past 25m with the...
600m? The group looks to be 60mm or so, scaled from 400mm edge length. That is exceptional shooting, well done. (Not trying to sound condescending, it's hard to say that otherwise)
I wouldn't...
The other side of that coin is that the Police have to follow the law also. Warrantless searches are only allowed when there is reasonable cause to believe a crime is being committed - and if there...
GME for the win. Mine spent a year in a creek and still work.
It helps of the carcass can go through rigor mortis before you cut the meat off the bone. Apparently the fibres stretch against the hold of the bone, and this helps with tenderness.
The trend of...
Not quite the same, but I was loading 123 sst for a 16" 260rem and had kills past 530m - projectile was picked for low speed opening and was much more than adequately accurate.
Yeah
Pm me. I'm always looking for people to chase roosters with
