Well, I ended up buying a 3-12x Sig Sauer Tango4 and sighted the rifle in, I quickly realised the glass was pretty disappointing considering the price of the scope so ended up getting a 2-10 VX5HD...

It's not overly fat, especially for a scope I will only use 4x per year max. A VX5HD seems to tick all of the boxes and is right at, or past, my budget.

Brads basically told me the same thing.
