    Sounds like bad choice of projectile ive used .25...

    Sounds like bad choice of projectile ive used .25 cal for years with projectiles doing over 3000fps and never had a deer run off.

    3200fps is not hard to achieve with a 24" barrel...

    3200fps is not hard to achieve with a 24" barrel however I mainly used 120Grn Hornady Hp and they worked great at 3100fps, I did use the 100 Nosler BT in my 25/08 and the 110 AB and they ended up...

    I to have used the .25 cal for many years in both 25/06 and 25/08 IMP but also only out to 500M, and yes the 06 is better off with a 24" barrel which is why I had the 25/08 made as I could get over...
