Always regret not making an effort a few years ago to get a short 8x57R barrel ( or 308 ) for my K95
I should have sold my R93s earlier and would have got the use from a second K95 barrel.

Well very positive though because apart from the one high shot it is a genuine group
Not stretched out so easier to just tighten it up
MSL the images are not great
But this rifle is bloody beautiful and the nicest wee rifle I have ever held
So I'm very excited to get a load sorted and head into some bush with it
Remington Rolling Block Baby Carbine
Sporting rifle carbine
No1 1/2 action in 44 WCF aka 44-40
20" barrel
5 1/2 pounds
Totally original and all the correct parts and numbers in the right...
Parker Hale Whitworth .451

csmiffy there a 30-06 I'm trademe In Canterbury
I want to see a picture of the first kill
Stop shooting paper and get out there
I'm a breast man !
Hence chest cavity
A well ventilated chest cavity with a .45 entry and considerably larger exit hole is the objective here.
The skin doesn't slide over the hole and the diaphragm can't pressurize the chest cavity....
Awesome rifle
Yes that model was an itch I nearly had to scratch but the issues getting them were significant.
So I started a 45-70 double rifle instead
Come on guys it's only a 45-70 isn't it ?
Perfectly sensible caliber for NZ bush hunting
Just think of it as America's version of the 308 only twice the age
Maca49 some details please
I got a BLR trigger worked ( factory trigger was difficult to use accurately ) by a well known gunsmith a number of years ago.
It was considerably worse when I got it back and cost a bit.
He didn't...
