Yeah I live near the track, I have seen you a couple of times when you were exercising your dogs...you can leave your wagon at my place and I can run you back and forth to Tuahu.

Bloody rugged up there at the moment due to 13 slips a few years ago and not cleared by council...there is some good forestry tracks that would suit you but access is dependent on knowing the right...

Have people given up hunting the area?...the number of vehicles at the road end is noticeable by their absence, I guess the state of the track puts a lot of quads and two wheelers off venturing up it...
