a bark box for boxing bark!!!!
in that last photo,it looks like husky is laying down dead and is it a stihl I see up higher waiting patiently to continue with the work LOL
No.3 have you had anything to do with the blue ones yet?? the chinese made pretty much direct knockoffs of Stihl???? watched a few video reviews and looked promising but a kick in teeth to the real...
pretty sure its almost a standard feature these days, plurry good when working with someone holding wood for me to cut,the instant I loosen my grip the chain stops so way less chance of accident,it...
and Im of opposite opinion and would fit dogs onto everything....
I have that in mid sized saw...its a great feature..if shit hits fan and for what ever reason you let go..chain stops...takes a bit to get used to closeing it to move chain for sharpening..but...
well I have to say Stihl..... the 250 size range are a great saw.... the ergo start is so easy to use..the Husky will be cheaper both are great brands.
oh well if it lasts 5 years its paid for itself then LOL.
how many pinglahlahs did it set you back???
dont try boring with that chain...99% sure its hardcore anti kickback chain and they do weird things if tip is used. good bargain. thats one of the old brands that has stood test of time.
SO spend $350,keep old one for spare parts, you have bar n chain that will flick straight over to start with..and brand new saw will have???12mth warrantee etc
but yes thats not a very good run at...
another way to put it..try riding your mountainbike up hill in top gear........
you said same thing I did...just differently LOL and much betterer too.
you know a 700hp truck will pig jump a bit if you ask it to pull 60ton up a hill too,if you miss a gear it will bog down and you will be forced to drop down gears to bottom cog and crawl up hill.......
I dig the dogs in and don't force it too hard, just let it chew its way through,if force it too hard yip it will big down.the 084 is only saw I've used that won't do that, pure horsepower.
Try changing your fuel mix a LITTLE maybe try some higher octane stuff or if are using it try 91. It makes a huge difference in smaller motors.outboards lawnmower too.i found would start easier on 91...
well its a bit like 2nd had rifles....a good one is still in compitition with the cheapest brand new one... so go to mitre 10 and find something similar size, then buy the stihl and be happy.
OK I will bite..whats the trailer in background used for???
an 084.....bugger,shit they are a lovely saw to use...good luck in your quest to find bits..contact stihl NZ directly..THEY WILL HAVE parts..the parent company still sends some of the older type saws...
looks like it got a tad warm...
on chainbar oil....for many many years I used ...used motor oil...shocking I know, but it cost me nothing.... then got all flash and got cleaner used tractor oil, from diffs etc.... have mixed in a bit...
so...using my above theory..find a thicker chainbar oil for it...... add more sticky LOL.... its worth a crack Nigel.
so mix the two...my point is,if thick oil isnt coming out fast enough, use thinner oil...mates work saw (smaller stihl) had this issue,it would do half tank oil to full tank gas..if we fed it thinner...
if you run thinner oil...eg car motor oil instead of chainbar lube...it will spit it out much faster...... the thinner the faster, just be aware it will probably..OK it WILL MOST LIKELY leak it out if...
the chainsaw bech set up Ive got is just about perfect for trees like that,I cut 8 foot lengths from 1" round upwards to about 4" and stack in trailer and take home to use the bench saw...dead easy...
