I seem to recall on more than one occasion suggesting this needs checked as part of initial checks,I got caught out with it twice in short order,strangely enough both times after having suppressor...

it is childs play to adjust the trigger on your .223 small flat screwdriver and tiny cresent...if you havent tiny open ended spanners (sorry akaroa1 ) loosen nuts,adjust,tighten and check is...

origonal bedding was a blob of hot glue gun snot,action was then slapped into place..... by redoing it you can poke some support out into knox area at same time and give recoil lug a decent new bed...

I was going to suggest a quicky job to see if tightens groups up immediately...so you stop chasing tail with testing till have ruled it out.... dead easy to do and results may change dramatically .
and please.please please...put a decent slip on recoil pad on it for now..those red hard rubber things are worse than a hunk of jandle and give you no protection at all...Ive got a bisley pad here...
two questions.....is it currently bedded and do you own a craft type hot glue gun?????
if its throated the same as my old 270..eg long leade you could well be fine quite hot.... only testing will tell.
