Everyone I've talked to said they hardly noticed a drop in numbers even in the areas that have had a hammering

Awesome video!
lumberjack
Correct. No wallabies in Central
Alot of goats on the stations around Cromwell
What brand of 300 win mag are you running?
What are you disappointed with? Looks bloody good to me but the stain on the antlers looks a bit off
Yea mate t2 terminator is the way to go. Have one on my 300 win mag and the break makes it really nice to shoot
Have a tikka t3 300 win mag with a t3 terminator brake on it. Very nice to shoot. Lets just say nothing runs away but not ideal for meat hunting
Saw this a few weeks ago when I was in foxton for a wedding. Absolutely massive. Apparently its going to be rented out to groups of people for around $4000 a night per person
Got a mate that had that block last year. They few in and walked out. Saw lots of chamois but no deer
What part of the country is the shoot held?
Na not sure its my mates dog. Goes bloody good finder/bailer but holds the smaller pigs. He got it from a fulla in Tarras
Cheers for the awesome feed back everyone! Most of the goats were shot with .223's using the bulk ammo you buy from hunting and fishing, apart from the odd goat that succumbed to the .300 win mag
Gday

Looks like a good idea. A whole new area for the summer ballot so more chances of getting blocks and areas that probably arent hunted very often
Anyone know when we can expect to find out results for the ballot?
Chucked an application in last night. First time so fingers crossed
Yep took photos. The tahr have been dead for a while so I’m guessing it was from when they culled 4000 earlier in the year

Just got back from a couple days tahr hunting in an area that has obviously been culled pretty heavily. 2 days hunting seen 6 tahr and of the 6 there was only 1 nanny. They were all pretty much...
