That first stag looks young and full of potential.
Hows the Huntaway and Mollyme in scrub I like both packs but habe never handled one. I'm thinking for scrub are loud due to material used.
Picked up this today Sako Finnfire P94S .22.
Described as mint, I'd have to say it is with no flaws I dont think it's ever been removed from its stock - I'm certainly happy.
The previous...
Absolutely, I'm stoked with him...I'm new to sika hunting, just love them. So much to learn
I had started to wonder if I had jumped the gun on taking my annual leave, first week of April and the only deer on my mind were Sika.
Today was the third trip this week to the same spot.
The...
I use 150 and 165 SST in my 16" 308.
The 150s are doing around 2650 using ADIs 2208 , have been fine on Sika, neck and chest (front on)
I'm no expert but SST seems pretty frangible I can't see...
Cool, will be in touch for a magnum can and brake next week.
Can't edit my post but no issues with 162 ELD X or 180 ELD M for 7m Rem Mag
My basic Lee die has no issues with 180 ELDM
I have a windburner and I find it great, you provide the ignition but no biggie. Does what it's meant to and pretty quickly, ideal for those type of meals.

Have had this rifle for a while but added the stock this week, I will just leave it as it is for now. I am...
I Use the products mentioned also. An easy way to check for copper fouling in the muzzle is with an ear bud.... hold the muzzle near a light source and put the bud in muzzle, it will reflect light...
Are you new to the area 300?
I'm in Papamoa now but family out Otamarakau still so could do a mission one day if your keen.
Grew up hunting Rotoehu, once you work it out your success will increase, it gets less pressure, it used to get bugger all compared to now.
Kroa will be getting smashed by hordes of dogs, trucks...
I use ADI 2208 Federal large and Lapua Brass
I run them exclusively in my 16" 308, same MV as 257 states.
They are an improvement over the 150 in my opinion in accuracy as well. Brother in law uses them a bit further out than me his last...
Awesome, south island trip definitely on the cards - you have some amazing country and animals down there.
Probably comes down to where you store them. I have sets that are 10years old and still look mint - I put Danish oil on them once a year or whenever I'm thinking of them, still dark as the day they...
