Would the end result have been different if it had been in 30-30?. That soft tip ammo increases usable range by a lot. Still no scope though on a top eject. I guess what I am asking is putting aside...

Unless your lucky enough to find a 16" trapper model like Cigars (or mine) you will most likely be looking at a 20" carbine, these weigh 71/2 lbs. As much as I love these guns you are better off...
