    I don't own one but have used one side by side...

    I don't own one but have used one side by side with my 170 and 240. Its whiter with a touch more reach but not much.
    Do it for battery life, if you want more reach get a bigger one.

    If your running off a vehicle i wouldn't bother....

    If your running off a vehicle i wouldn't bother. If your lugging batteries then yea for the extra life.
