As 20 Bore said, Stu at Greystone is worth talking to. He's bedded 2 Tikkas for me (one wood, one plastic) and accuracy gains were worth it in my opinion.
I think Rivers to Ranges in Rangiora also...
Was the Ken H stock noticeably better after bedding?
Finally got around to loading with some 2206h. Pretty happy with the first 2 groups. Will put over the chrony this weekend. Thanks for the responses and PMs.

Tahr what COAL are you running with the Sierras? Thanks
For what it's worth. A mate's standard T3 Creedmoor sprays the Norma Scirocco all over the show (+2 inch groups), but shoots Hornady Superformance 129 SSTs well under an inch.
Thanks charliehorse
No panic, thanks.
Thanks Tahr - PM on its way. I think he gets around 2800 from the factory stuff, so would be good to replicate that (but no drama if we don't).
Cheers
Many thanks for the responses.
MD - he mainly hunts open country is confident out to 400 yards. The SSTs have worked well for him in the past and seem to go well in that rifle.
Cheers
Have volunteered to reload for a mate who's unable to find factory ammo, but has managed to secure a few hundred 139g SSTs and some Norma brass. Rifle is a suppressed T3 with a 19 inch barrel that...
cb14 your one would give that one a run for its money I'd expect.....
Also noting Superformance has a reputation for being temp sensitive.
18 inch suppressed T3 - 90g ELDX at 3000fps with 2209 (under book max).
Have sent you a pm.
Gunworks has 130gr Ballistic Tips in stock. Have performed well for me under a mild'ish load of 2209 and would be fine out to OP's 400m.
I've also had a couple of bad experiences with 130 SSTs.
I was in the Molesworth weekend before last and snow level was around 1250m. As Happy Jack says, they've had some more overnight, but doesn't look like it's to lower levels and forecast is looking...
My 2021 Hilux (auto, SR5 Cruiser) is mid 9s open road, late 10s around town - nudge bar, hard lid and off-road tires. My 2016 was similar.
I've used them in the 270 and worked well on reds of all sizes. Similar performance to an Accubond by all accounts.
I've had very good results in my Tikka with 90g ELDX behind 2209 (Norma brass, CCI primers). Also run the same load with 90g Nosler BTs shooting same point of impact. Both have been very effective on...
Alpine has a deal with Pak n Save to supply ven mince. According to an Alpine pilot I spoke with back in March, this translated to around 100 animals a week.
Well said woods223. Very interesting to hear from someone with first-hand knowledge. And also an interesting insight into the mindset of station management.
62g Swift Scirocco might be worth a look. Gunworks has them in stock - not especially cheap though...
