You probably should have said standard or factory cartridge, even then the 450 Bushmaster with 250 grains at 2200 fps has way more grunt but like the 50 Beowulf drops like a stone compared to the 6.5...

If you are going to that amount of trouble the 204 ruger is a much better parent case than the 223 :cool:

I even have a 244-204 Ruger reamer :)

That's a sound idea, miles more grunt than a 223, the difference between a 223 & 6.8 SCP upper on game has to be seen to be believed, the Grendel is even better :)
