Savage, IMHO something like 4-16 would be a more sensible option for these types of shoots. Not all the shots are prone from stable position, you don't want to go too high for lowest magnification....

Having the option of firing multiple shots would benefit newbies. With the first couple of your shoots I found it to be a significant learning curve... Maybe look at scoring where first shot hit...
