Not sure why around 1.5 MOA would "erk" you, unless you are shooting flies ? In my book that is well within minute-of-deer/goat :D
I'll post pics in the morning. Accuracy with 162 Amax went to shit. Ended up trying a bunch of different projectiles and now use 120 Pro Hunters. Golf ball sized groups at 100 yds, and enough energy...
Got a metal lathe at home, so did it myself. Took measurements off my AR15 carbine barrel and left a bit of a safety margin.
Did wear a welding mask for the first couple of test shots though :D

I have a severely modified Savage that ended up at 3.1kg (scoped and with a DPT can) - it is fun to carry :thumbsup:
And it is a long action as well, so would probably go around 3.0 kg...
Generally around your waist :P
Barrel, stock & scope would give you the most gains.
Stuff like fluting barrel & bolt not much.
