I agree that breaking 180 would be DQ even without firing a shot. This is as per what I said previously - the shooter has 90 degrees in all directions from directly downrange, including straight up...
What rule would he have broken?
He has 90 degrees of freedom in all directions from directly downrange. If he shot a round pointed up too high - that is another issue altogether.
Keep it up...
Seems a bit strange that the cases would be short - all the ones I gave you have been through my rifle (Ruger Hawkeye) at some point. There isnt any range pickups either.
I also have a bunch. Happy to give you 50. I work at the same place chrome does as well ;)
Taking a mate up there isn't a problem. Obviously we aren't going to be that strict. But we dont want one mate in a group joining up and getting a range key so the whole group can head up there every...
I buy Hornady Training Ammo (Brass cased) and just keep the brass. Can get them for just under $1 per round when buying bulk, and its good brass.
Best to just go straight to Fletchers and get them to cut what you want. You will pay a bit for it, but unless you know someone who has a whole sheet and is willing to cut a bit for you, or someone...
Conspiracy theory 101 : Answer every question with "That's what they want you to think......"
1080 not done yet. But it will have Deer repellant - HVNZDA President is up in Taupo today seeing the repellant being applied.
As others have said - the process is really simple. Take the rifle into the cop shop, see the AO and say you want to transfer it onto your E. Get the X form, fill it out - AO compares serial number...
I use a CZ SP-01 Shadow in production division. When I was in the market, I fired a CZ and a glock side by side. The CZ was much more suited to my grip, and I shot a hell of a lot better with it. I...
My answers were:
Why do you need MSSA's: For competition and sporting use including hunting.
Why not sporting firearms: They are sporting firearms.
Got a chuckle from the AO when I submitted...
Cheers
When are you coming back to Heretaunga?
So I set out to get a load sorted for my 9mm pistol. I have been shooting Belmont Factory ammunition for a while to collect the brass. Have had excellent accuracy from them, so I decided that...
Would need to be belt fed for them...........
Found the best way to deal with the sandflies was smoke them out. Keep a good fire going at all times at camp :)
*cough* Shotgun with Buckshot *cough*
Would be interested to see how you go.
I get just over 3100 for my load, although I have 3050 as my speed on my drop charts. Works well out to 1000 yards.
Even more interesting is I know Tui4Me...
I have a Sendero 7mm Mag as well - shoots similar load. 162 Amax, 72.5gr 2217, Norma brass, Federal Magnum Match primers. Good for 0.5MOA consistently.
This might be of some help.

I wouldnt stress much about the "hard core gongs" for bigger calibres.
KiwiGreg shot one of my 16mm Biz400 Plates with his 416 at 250 yards. Was quite impressive to say the least - maybe Phlip...
Would love a copy.
Could be keen depending on dates. Possibly a Lower North Island convoy?
Also last time I spoke to Wayne Chapman from Magnum imports, he had just got a bunch in.
Ohakune
Yup id be keen for the 28th April.
If we shoot at the Kune range - we must go longer this time! Although I will need to extend my drop chart :)
