Ive been out for a rabbit shoot in the dark to test the new external IR illuminator too.

I concur, so much more light in close and when zoomed in more it gives good vision to excess of...

Heres a very quick and dirty vid via the Pard NV008 with Kiwi-Hunters external IR Illuminator mounted to the side, its not quite alligned properly, but you get the idea, those trees are 500 yards...

Mine has arrived today, ive mounted it to the side of the NV008 and am waiting for it to get dark so i can test it...

Im off for a shoot with the pard 008 tonight, was hoping the external IR was here in time to test.

Im definitely keen to try an 850nm, am i right in thinking it will throw a fair bit further/brighter than the 940nm?

Righto, can you supply the IR illuminator with both 850 and 940 and the adjustable mount? When your stock arrives of course.

Id like one too please, im thinking 850, but would there be the ability to retrofit the 940 later?
