Nah needed a short action one. In any case I brought a proper brand new bolt (PTG) and had it fitted by a proper gunsmith. Fired 700+ since and not one single failure to extract, not one!...
So then why was my bolt needed to be replaced
As I said before why the hell is it so hard to get you to answer to anything,
If you truely believe that there is nothing wrong with the rifle why...
Interesting............so if you are a or have business have have 5% ün-happy customers" thats OK?? Would you not be trying to have 100% happy and maybe settle for 99% in reality?
Yeah TeRei I think he used the magnum "disapointer" hammer then disappeared faster than a DD chasing stock v:D
rayzor whent the time comes to rebarrel I will do it myself with a prefit then I...
Yep moving on now had my vent..... seems I'm worong to expect something I brought to work or repairs to be effective
Yes because they would actually work and if not then Hunting and Fishing would sort it (I can't believe I said that)
Actually the words "Sorry" from the supplier would have worked too!!
Your point is taken and fair enough........I expect to take a bath on a custom gun but I also expect it to WORK as it should. Greg DIDN't sort it unlike you, the first or third time!!
I have had...
I think thats fair.
I would point out that as far as I am aware Greg is not a gunsmith and farms the work out to various "suppliers".
Personally I think they let him down multiple times BUT as...
I knew it would not be solved before I posted, if it was going to be it would have never got to here.
I have given up expecting a resolution
In fairness to the supplier, I believe the actual "repair's" if you can call them that were carried out by "proper" gunsmiths.
What gets me is if it were me in my professional job I would not...
Um they tried screwing it on first, screws came loose then next and last attempt was tig weld which is what you see I believe the damage from (actually I think they just screwed it back on then tig...
Tried the CGA approach but apparently they seem to be "specifically excluded" from it or it does not apply to them.
I'm not sure I have the energy to do the court thing, I posted wondering if I was...
Ba ha ha ha..........you made me laugh is that the famous "GST pen". I am still trying to understand whythe whole thing is my fault??
I will consider that.........surely it would have been easier to solve this before it got to this point.
Has a PTG one Piece now. Yes its been a long time and the frustration has built up. It does not help when you feel like the supplier won't take you seriously and thinks the issue was not his problem...
Yes well you would think so, I as a tradesmen stand behind all mine. I can accept shit does happen but its the putting right that counts.
in this case I had to put it right myself and at my cost!
Funnilly enough I though that a gunsmith would be all of those things + a machinist.
My Terminator Products 6.5SAUM extracts properly..................Finally
All I had to do was pay someone else who actually know what they were doing, to repair the rifle.
So after many years of...
