    .308 case gauge for 7mm08

    Hi everyone,
    I was just wondering can I use a .308 case gauge for 7mm08 cases?
    Body and headspace dimensions are the same, I think..
    Any advise appreciated.

    The 7-08 is only 0.020" or 0.5 mm shorter than a 308 so it is no big deal ,depending on how picky you are . The only problem is the size of the pilot / shaft .
