    tikka 30 06

    Hi i am concidering buying a 30 06 with a 22 and a bit barrel I was wondering if this length barrel is worth while or should I buy a 308
    Hoping someone has chronyed some loads out of a tikka 30 06.

    I had a 22" 30/06 from memory 56.6gr 2209 and a 165 nosler BT did 2700 fps. Think I got up to 58gr doing 2800fps but the accuracy wasn't there. Now I would probably go for a 150gr or 130gr TTSX. Should get 2900 with the 150 and over 3000 with the 130gr.
