    First deer

My cousin rang this morning to say his nephew hasn't got a deer yet and the last time out couldn't see the deer pointed out to him so my cousin shot it and said "there it is"...haha.

Time to get the confidence back with an easy 'wild' fallow back of the farm. Windy old day but the young fella smoked this fat wee spiker at 216y with a 22-250 through the shoulder. Nice exit hole too.

Great to see a young fella smiling about hunting and gathering.

Nice going, should be a good eater, getting bad when the deer arrive on your doorstep asking to be shot, nice to see though.

And now this young fellow shot his first deer with you, an experience he’ll never forget. Well done, what an honour and a privilege to take young hunter to his first deer.

Great outcome and a very nice skin. Well done young man. Looks like there will be more competition on the hill now. Great work Tikka7.
