Thread: Hunting near Queenstown

Hi,

My brother and I will be in the Queenstown area the first week of April and then making our way up to the north island around the 12th. Our plan is to hike into some deep areas way out of the way looking for some red stags. Any suggestions on places that most people can't get to that may be decent? Really open to any suggestions on places where we can find deer as my brother used to live down there but things change after 10 years.
