    I would say yes my 16 inch 308 was same, s/s baffle is the go with short barrels. They are pretty hard on suppressors being that short there is a lot more heat an pressure I think

    That's pretty bad. I had a stainless baffle on my 7mm08 and it was spotless after a couple of hundred rounds. The aluminium baffle on my 300BLK is also perfect after a similar number of shots, but obviously, it has a much lower muzzle energy.

    I wouldnt stress this is mine after 150 rounds 7saum hasnt got any worse their is cleaners that are recomended when I opened this their was a fair bit of blue deposits likly carbon probably done more harm just now sticking it in the vise and trying to separate the other 3 baffels

    Yeah my 17" 223 corroded the first baffle on the initial trip to range. But has settled down with not noticeable wear since then.

    One of the great things with DPT is that you can actually monitor what is happening. God knows what is going on in a sealed surpressor.

    Yip you could even do baffle rotations to share the wear if you are onto it enough
