    Yep that's the 577 going sideways kind of wind that no ballistic calculator can cope with.

    I had a .17hmr and was like a bloody laser even out to 100+ yards, Great penetration and expansion too on such a little round. never fired a 22 magnum but from the performance I got from the .17 it would be hard to beat. Rounds a bit expensive for a rimfire though, Costs almost the same as cheap 7.62x39

    Got me a marlin 917vr heavy barrel, 4-12x love it, just love it. Will need to do a trigger job on it to make it lighter
    It takes some of the guess work out when you working on some angles/slopes, the fact it just goes faster and flatter means it will generally get there.
