....Convert a Lee enfeild too 8.6 Blackout?

Interested in any ideas or comments.

8.6 is designed to only require a barrel change on any 308/243/708 so it would save a lot of issues to start with a rifle in that cal.
REM700 prefit barrels are available in the states from faxom in the correct fast twist it’s designed around, I haven’t been able to find any 338cal barrels in nz faster than 9 twist so I’m putting that cal on the back burner till things become available here

44mag fast twist would probably be the go for an Enfield if you wanted a sub gun or just stick with 303 and run 151gr cast hollow points and trail boss

444 marlin or 45/70 are other semi easy conversions... The old SMLE getting long in tooth now.the 30/30 might be ideal for same purpose but then again if rebarrelling anyway there is 303 Brit barrels being made again

8.6 would be easiest in a 308, im keen on one of those pre-fits when they arrive...one day
