    Non hd vx6 zero stop

I just bought this vx6 off a forum member (good bastard) and I'm trying to work out how the zero stop works. This picture is what it came with. Am I having a brain fart or missing something?

Yeah what 199p said. The later VX6 non HD had a ZL1 turret, which differs to what you have.

Does the cap that you have removed have a silver detent button on it? The button is not visible in your photo, if it's not there then you don't have the zero stop system which was available on VX6 non HD series scopes with one turn or 20 MOA of adjustment.
Just going to take a look around the next bend...

No detent button. I thought I had read somewhere leupold had come up with a solution for these older ones... might have to fork out and spring for a zl2 turret also

The older ones secured the zero stop with a little sticker. Do a web search on install cds to vx6, -They have a short video on it. The problem is you need a new sticker every time you adjust the load-zero etc. As 199p says you can send to leupold and have the zero lock installed which allows you to reset the zero stop every time you change something, especially if you choose a moa turret rather than one for a specific load.

Good idea, I have same scope but sent mine back to the US for warranty work and paid for the ZL2 cap and install while there.
