    Garmin etrex 20

    Hey guys
    School me on GPS's
    I'm after a basic unit that I can program co-ordinates into, and it'll take me there.( huts, claypans, etc )
    Is the etrex 20 any good ?

    Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

    I have this model, has served me well for the last 4 years. It will easily do everything you have asked, you can also put topo maps on it, although the screen is rather small. Only downside is you have to be moving for it to give you a bearing or heading etc.
