    Gossamer Pack Sale. Recommended.

This is good gear. Very light packs and surprisingly durable. 30% off sale. I thrashed mine to near death and then gave it to a forum member to kill. You cant go wrong at this price if you are after a really light pack. I hauled some big loads in mine.

Yes I've got two, one for tramping and one for hunting. Both Mariposa's.

I've been impressed how long the hunting one has lasted. Used it for eight years now and carried many heavy loads of meat. Nothing broken yet.

Only disadvantage is that they aren't waterproof in the slightest.

You can buy them in NZ https://www.packgeargo.co.nz/product...a-60-backpack/ but I've found it's slightly cheaper to buy them from the US if they are on sale.

No worse than macpac aztec and the like. I never noticed it as being noisy. They aren't very wide or high so don't catch on stuff so much. Ive got a real flash arse lightweight pack now but honestly these Gossamer's are just as good for a few hundred bucks less.

Said forum member is still trying to kill it, unsuccessfully. Can recommend, if you were lucky, you might get a couple of .223 rounds included

They were the free gift with purchase. Like steak knives.
