No dig intended....but being a pom who shoots black swans (Waikato) i had a good laugh during the program, the very first hunter answered 'how would you like to cull them?'.....poison is barbaric, and it only happens one day a year (the cull, correct?)

again, a short sighted view given nationwide attention with no alternative solution, WE as hunters will NEVER win public approval, I just 'get on with it' and keep my own council, as long as its legal I will continue my RIGHT to hunt......

the vast majority of animals/birds NZ classes as pests/vermin/food resource was brought here either by accident/original good intent/ignorance or for sport.....the 'cat is out the bag' now, lets just load up and keep going......I am

As an outsider myself - I gotta say that anyone not in their native country whinges like a bitch without even knowing it. I've been told off myself for doing it. But do know this, ex-pat Kiwis in Australia do exactly the same. "In Nuzullund thus" and "in Nuzullund thet" is all they ever say LOL. They probably do in London as well.
