My mate was out there and saw. Few guys chased after the.guy that shot it.butnhe did the runner, then when my mate.was leaving he saw somemothers have a shot at a couple but they missed, he went over and had a word with them.
There really are some dumb asses around the lake especisllly on opening

Yup, a very stupid and needless act.
However I find it even more needless of F&G to mouth off to the media, when it could have been handled a lot smarter. Idiots! I spose they have to be seen to be doing something to justify their existence.

They have just given the fuckin freak brigade more ammunition and brought the whole lot of us, as hunters, down to the level of the idiots that shot the swan.

Curious to hear how you think they could have dealt with it in a "smarter" way ?

Not blabbing it to the friggin media for start. Find the prick and prosecute him/them and it is read in court news if at all. Not where every other retard will read it and use it as ammo against law abiding hunters at the start of duckshooting, where everyone is on a crusade either way.

Make a better media statement. Fish and game are currently pursuing one hunter who.......this however has been shown to be annisolated case of stupidity which has been met with disgust from the broader hunting community who are assissting in enquiries after attmepting to catch the person on the day.

Something along these lines would paint us in a better light

Actually in really low light both do look black.

we had two come down the lentgh of the boggy line and im pretty sure gunfire erupted as they ran the gauntlet could be just coincedence.
ive only ever seen 7 at the lake,somecpeople are to dumb to live
