I honestly don't know why if your serious about your data you wouldn't be using it.
Yep Kelton it works really well with devices and the validation feature is awesome.
    No more chronograph for validation!
I have shot out to 2.5k combined with my kestrel 5700 but the sig 3000bdx is my go to now with the kestrel but always pays to have a back up!

It would be interesting to see a video ofthis shooting at 2.5 km. How about it? I’m sure a few of us are genuinely interested.

The look angle is also very accurate with our binos tbr topping out at 800 I used it for the 1300 yard shot (a miss with windage) but spot on for elevation. My fault very still but didnt liesten to the app with its spin drift correction . And obviously still doesnt mean no wind and thats a long way out

I'm in the Applied ballistics camp. If you start playing around at long range, without a good ballistics solver. It doesn't take you long to waste $40 worth of ammo!. Think of it as a long term investment.

You paid for the app, and that's applied to your account - so whatever device your account is logged into - you have the app.
As for the sync over devices - not sure on that - though there is the function to save your data in the app to a folder or online storage such as box.com, dropbox, Google Drive etc.
Under Settings, ( gear icon ) scroll down, and find Backup rifles - once backed up, from your other device you can then go to your chosen method, ie Google Drive, and 'Yes, import rifles from Google Drive.'

    Hope this helps.

I did this when had a new phone - just uploaded and down loaded from old to new ...

    Strelok Pro

Looked at Hornady 4DOF, and deleted that pretty quickly.

Intrigued with AB - though I'm no long range shooter, and only own a Kestrel 2500...

I have strelok pro and just bought AB, I prefer the reticle options, ability to choose measurement units across a wider range of measurements and how the multi target setup works on strelok.
Would expect AB to give more accurate solutions given better bc options, ideal would be blend of both

Does AB have airgun pellets ?
Previously, Chairgun did it but then I had to go to Strelok to use them.
    Both seemed quite accurate.

I know you should confirm trajectory yourself but pellets can be changed quite often and sometimers a 50m range isnt available and high angle slope and wind can be majors so a bit of app prediction is useful.

Any other airgun pellet app suggestions ?

Irrelevant in my scenario where AB has being spot on using the provided litz bc and magneto speed velocity

@distant stalker what awkwardness did you have ?
I still use strelok and like being able to input ammo in grains and fps, ranges in metres, wind in m/s then output in mRad cm and ft.lb ft/s which are all units im used to and my gear is calibrated in. Can AB do that or is it the 400 lb gorilla ?

Couldn't find a way to have AB wind in MS and projectile velocity in fps, that kind of thing. Not massive and could adjust to it just enjoy familiarity on those things
